Endeavor Snowboards started out when World Industries canceled their adult range of snowboards, which left Max Jenke without a board sponsor. Testing almost every brands boards for a season, Max came to the conclusion that there was a serious opportunity to do something new and innovative in the snowboard industry.
An opportunity presented itself in the summer of 2001 to make some sample boards in Oregon. Max jumped on it immediately and recruited the help of his friends Scott Serfas, Randy Ross, Chris Martin, and Rob Dow. Shortly after making their first prototypes, Max hopped on a plane and flew to Europe in order to convince Paavo Tikkanen to join the crew and make something out of nothing.
A year later, the first range of endeavor boards were produced and shipped.
